TERRIFYING (BUT WORTH IT!) HIKES

I personally found these hikes very scary in parts, and although I am so happy and proud I did them, I will certainly think twice before doing them again!

FINGER POINT

We made it to Finger Point!! 💕 It's days like today I wonder if I'm really as adventurous as I think I am.. the majority of the hike was perfect. 👌 The climb at the end was terrifying (for me, not for Darryl or any of the other people I saw climbing up and down with no issues). I sat my butt down on the first large rock I found at the top and stayed there for a good 20 minutes. I hardly got to enjoy the view between my queasy tummy and the fear of having to climb down where I just climbed up. Thankful for pictures to enjoy after the fact, thankful for Darryl who held my hand and pulled me up at the scariest parts, thankful for my new hiking shoes, thankful for beautiful weather, thankful I made it to the top, thankful I didn't die. 🙌 #wedidit #exploreyourownbackyard

WOLF RIVER FALLS

𝕯𝖔 𝖎𝖙 𝖘𝖈𝖆𝖗𝖊𝖉 OMG, I sure did today. Another ✔️ off my hiking bucket list.. Wolf River Falls trail was so much more terrifying than I imagined it to be (I nearly quit and turned around more than twice on the way down 🤷🏻‍♀️). But, I did it! 😧🥵😎 The view was so worth it. ❤️ And we even found a beautiful scenic spot and #geocache on the way home! 👌 #exploreyourownbackyard

MAZUKAMA FALLS

After months of research and contemplation, we finally tackled Mazukama Falls today!! 💦 I was not prepared for how steep, scary and tough it was, but so happy we did it! 🙌 One of the most beautiful trails we've done in a while. 💗 #exploreyourownbackyard
